Location is good. Easy reach to the beach and seafront walk.
Room general small and rather dated. Definite require renovation. Thin walls and easily transmits noise. General feels cramp in the room.
We had a meal with friends in the hotel restraunt it was very comfortable and relaxed and not rushed the staff were very helpfull and friendly The hotel room was over looking the beach and had a balcony if we wanted to use it The room had heating tv and tea making facilities
The reception staff did not have a record of our booking ! which was a bit upsetting as it was our 30th wedding anniversary but they had plenty of rooms so not really a problem The bed and pillows were hard they could have had one hard and one soft pillow which is what some hotels have my husband said he would have liked a bath but only had a shower The room and corridoors of the hotel are starting to look a bit shabby so didnt think it was as special as I would have liked for the occasion
The tv was great!
The accommodation part of the building is a bit run down. It would need a bit of jazzing up (even just a repaint would do the job). The room, apart from the tv, are a bit old and dingy.
Not being at work
Change all toilet cisterns to new dual flush as the old ones are costing you excess water rates.
Nice Location. Bed linen was in good condition.
Very shabby room. Noisy from bar downstairs. Bathroom not cleaned properly, hairs on toilet seat. Price not consistent with room condition.
Location, view, fridge in room, huge flatscreen tv and price.
Very dated décor. Room a tad unclean, ie, mould in bathroom, unclean surfaces, dusty and a grubby air-con system. Noisy fridge, uneven flooring on balcony (slightly dangerous to say the least), please don’t get this hotel mixed up with the ‘Ocean Beach Hotel’ further up the road! Be aware if staying on a Friday or Saturday night, due to the loud music from the bar beneath your room, thumping it's way through your floorboards!
Not good for young children more of a party atmosphere
Rooms were comfortable,staff proffesional
We were not informed on arrival that there was building work next door and they would be working after 9pm.Which meant a disturbed night after travelling 800kms.
Cleanliness of our room
The noise The room size was also too small, especially for the price
Casual atmosphere, closeto a good beach and other tourist facilities
Rooms a little small
The bathroom was really nice and big enough.
This hotel is not really worth the price you are paying for. I stayed there for 4 nights and was paying 200 AUD per night (800 AUD all in all). That was for a room without seaview and without balcony!! The room was quite nice but very dusty. Unfortunatelly the window was broken and I wasn't able to close it proberly. I had a really bad view over the roof, on which was a lot of rubbish. Every morning I woke up because the worker started their work. I wasn't told that the hotel is building a bar in the backyard. Sleeping in was not possible because of that. Sleeping in the night was hard, because I could hear the person in the room next to me snoring. I told the reception about all this stuff...all they offered me was moving to an (partner-) apartment in Fremantle (which is about 20mins from Cottesloe without any nice beaches). The reason why the offered me this offer was just because they were overbooked, not because of my appeal (as far I was told). I chose this hotel because I wanted to relax during my last four days in Australia. I should have booked a backpacker, it would have been the same, but much cheaper. This hotel is absolutely not worth the price!!!!!!
view on balcony at sunset was unreal.
Loved the location, the big balcony and great views.
Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was small but comfortable. Restuarant was well appointed and the food was above average.
Reception is only open till 5pm so hard if anything goes wrong. Housekeeping did forget to replace toiletries and there was no hairdryer in my room and due to the reception hours hyard to get sorted.
it's location and the fact that I had a balcony overlooking the main strip.
The noise at night time from the music at the bar can be heard (it's mainly the base that you can hear), It was ok though.
